The joy of working with people is that you never know what they may ask for. On this occasion, my client was looking for a stand to help them clean their horses harnes, such as collars, reins and bridles. "It's fantastic...it has made our life so much easier....thank you for such a wonderful stand" (Mrs TL Guildford)

If you would like any equestrian stand for carriage driving or saddles, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Your requirements can be made to fit your needs.

Mid installation on a kitchen....just waiting for the worktop delivery...!!!

All my designs and products are built in my workshop on the Surrey/Hampshire border, just off the A3, so great for easy access.

Or perhaps, all you need is a bench to match the table...!

Key to MHJ is the owner Martin Heydon. Since his training in the mid 80's he has been dedicated to offering a customer focused environment, targeting the client needs and desires. "As long as you listen to the customer, to their needs and expectations, you can't go far wrong.."

Design Ideas

Every home, room and space is different. Everyone has their own needs and desires, with a home that fits them.

When designing kitchens and cabinets, we might produce a thousand ideas before arriving at the perfect one for a client. It's a necessary part of the creative process and one that we take seriously. For a more detailed design, we can work with our interior designer, NJ Celeste.  Here's how we do it:

  • Start with an idea
  • Create a mood board using key words, phrases and materials
  • Discuss ideas to arrive at the 3-5 top objectives
  • Use these top objectives to brainstorm goals in a non-judgmental environment
  • Sleep on the ideas...! It is important that ideas have time to mature
  • Make final assessments and agree a time frame
  • It's then up to us... the build starts...
